The Opportunity – Account Manager, Engineering:

client, a market leader in their industry, as they continue to expand. As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in building on existing relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction, and driving sales growth across the UK.We are seeking a candidate with a strong customer focus, adept technical and commercial skills, and excellent relationship-building capabilities.

As an Account Manager, you will operate from the head office based in Diss, managing your accounts effectively with the support of our sales support team.

Responsibilities

– Account Manager, Engineering:

* Look after a portfolio of existing clients.

* Deal with incoming inquiries and quote requests.

* Present solutions, generate quotes, negotiate deals, and process orders.

* Maintain regular contact with the client until closing of deal, updating information in the CRM system.

This position may involves occasional travel (perhaps once a quarter) but will predominantly be office based.

What will you sell and to whom?

You will

be responsible for selling a

diverse

portfolio, including applications ranging from welding and cutting to sophisticated gas supply systems for medical and electronics industry applications.

Person Specification – Account Manager, Engineering:

* Technical/engineering background (desirable).

* Experience in consultative selling.

* Previous experience in account/relationship management.

* High degree of self-motivation.

* Target driven.

* Strong team player with the ability to work independently.

* Fluent in written and spoken English.

* Good computer skills (Microsoft Office package).
