Position:  Analyst/Manager (Africa United Kingdom

G3’s Africa team is seeking to hire a manager or analyst to support in

project management

, source network development and analysis. Decisions on whether hiring will be at the analyst or manager level will be made depending on the candidate’s relevant experience.

The Role

This role would involve:

Management of enhanced due diligence and strategic intelligence projects across sub-Saharan Africa

Public domain research and conduct of human source enquiries to support strategic intelligence projects

Draft reports as well as supporting visuals

Briefing of clients and other external and internal stakeholders on existing project work

Development of human source network for G3’s Africa team

Draft client-ready project proposals and assist with wider business development activities

Qualifications & Capabilities

The successful candidate will have:

Fluency in English and French and ideally one other relevant language, including Spanish and Portuguese

Excellent written and verbalcommunication skillsin English for report drafting and client briefings

A minimum of 1 year experience in the business intelligence industry, or any other relevant industry such as banking or law

Experience in researching complex matters with knowledge of relevant databases and other relevant sources of information in the public domain

Expertise in or at least one of the main sub-Saharan markets, paired with understanding of commercial and regulatory risks faced by investors in the region would be an advantage

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects at the same time, and meet client deadlines

Interpersonal skills that will be essential in client briefings and liaison with other internal and external stakeholders
