An established FX Payments Fin Tech are looking for an Application Security Manager to join their team, reporting to the CISO. This is anexciting, greenfield opportunity providing the successful candidate the chance to have a genuine impact throughout an organisation that is one of the oldest financial institutions in the UK and has experienced genuine results and success in the past few years.
The organisation specialises in cross-border payments connecting emerging and frontier markets with the rest of the world and just last year IPO’d on the London Stock Exchange. In the last 3 years, they have won several awards in the FX and Payments spaces underlining their commitment to become one of the leading worldwide institutions in these areas.
This role is perfect for any Application Security Engineers or Leads looking to take their first steps into a management position. In this role, you will operate as a combination of a BISO and a Dev Sec Ops Lead. You will be responsible for working with the engineers, ensuring security is included in the engineering lifecycle. As well as taking ownership ofcode reviews, you will have full responsibility for customer facing applications.
With the expected growth of the company, there will potentially be greater managerial responsibility in the future, including the opportunity to build an Application Security team.
