My client are a leading construction consultancy based in South East London that are on the lookout for an Assistant Building Surveyor to join their team.
The successful candidate will work on a range of projects across the residential, commercial,education, and healthcare sectors.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of building surveys, defect reports, and schedules of condition
Assist in the preparation of contract documents, including drawings and specifications
Assist in the preparation of tender documents and the management of tender processes
Assist in the preparation of reports and the management of projects
Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and other professionals
Undertake measured surveys of buildings using electronic survey equipment
Assist in the preparation of building regulations and planning applications
Requirements:
A degree in building surveying or a related discipline
Some experience in a building surveying role, either through work experience or a placement year
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software
Goodcommunicationand interpersonal skills
Attention to detailand the ability to work accurately under pressure
The ability to work as part of a team and to take on responsibility
