Linear Recruitment have anexcitingopportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join a well established regional house builder in Sheffield.
To be considered for this role you will have been an assistant for multiple years for a regional or national house builder working on new build housing developments
Main
Responsibilities
• Support the management and development to maintain and deliver the build program in accordance with budgets and forecasts. Ensuring that the final product is to high standard
• Support the Site Manager in daily site operations
• responsibility and control of all site staff and sub-contractors including labour only ground workers/contractors, ensuring that all employees comply with our Health and Safety standards
• Liaison with head office, NHBC and local authority departments
• Timely ordering of materials ensuring the build program can be achieved
• Carry out hand over inspection of properties to the customers in accordance with ourcustomer careprocedures
• Complete as soon as practicably possible anycustomer caredefects raised in conjunction with ourcustomer careteam
• Actively encourage a philosophy of safety, progress, quality andinnovation
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experiences as an Assistant Site Manager working on new build housing development.
• Full UK driving license
• Excellent knowledge of construction build programs
• Strong commercial awareness
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes
• Experience of successfully achieving customer service requirements
• Awareness of codes of practice that impact on Construction matters e.g., NHBC, Building Regs, etc.

• Fire Marshall
