Lexington Communications is looking for a brilliant Associate Director within our successful Corporate Communications & Reputation team. This role will be key in leading and developing the team, running high profile accounts, and winning new business. This is a senior position: as a core member of theleadershipteam you will drive the team forward.
We’re looking for adynamicand driven individual who brings energy and positivity to an already high-achieving team! You’ll tackle our clients’ thorniest issues, working to shape tomorrow across a number of sectors spanning the creative industries, transport, food & drink, construction, health, infrastructure, financial services and charities.
Your role will include leading on integrated communications accounts, involving campaigns, media relations, media planning, digital communications and issues management, as well as taking a central role in new business work, ranging from proposal writing to pitching, organic growth and lead development.
We are looking for a candidate with 7-10 years’ experience, the majority working in a communications agency.
The role will include:
Working as a senior account lead, providing senior counsel to clients and overseeing strategic development of accounts
Advising on the media agenda, communications and campaign planning and strategy development for clients across a number of sectors
Leading the development of responses to new business briefs and pitching to prospective clients
Identifying new business opportunities and developing budgeted proposals
Guiding clients through crisis comms situations
Managing junior account teams and overseeing client relationships day-to-day
Line management of more junior colleagues
Supporting teams on a range of PR tactics, from producing press materials to sell ins, messaging and narrative development
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of what effective corporate comms and a good story look like; how the media agenda works across multiple platforms, including broadcast, print and digital, and how to produce and implement communications strategies based on a client’s needs. Experience and understanding of effectiveemployee engagementstrategies would also be a bonus.
You may also be expected to advise on social media and digital activity and use of multimedia channels for effective campaigning.
