Are you a biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or product design graduate or equivalent looking for an NPI Development Engineer role in a progressive orthopedic organization?
You will
be part of the R&D Hip team that develops hip medical implants and instrumentation, specifically focusing on the design
optimization
of new implants, as well as maintenance of existing commercialized Corin products and instruments. You should ideally have previous work experience in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices, and knowledge of manufacturing processes and inspection methodology. Or have completed your studies/thesis on hip, knee, or instrument design development?
This is a hybrid role based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire requiring a minimum of 3 days onsite with excellent benefits and career opportunities. We can only offer this role to permanent UK residents or ILR, we can not support a Student or Skilled Worker VISA for this role. The responsibilities of an NPI Development Engineer are vast and include structural calculations, tolerance stack analysis, and CAD assembly assessment.
You will
also create and maintain design and manufacturing documentation for instrument and implant devices, manage specific design projects, and be involved with project core teams. If you have the expertise and skills necessary to excel in this field. Let’s work together to develop
