Service Manager required in Exeter within a charity that supports vulnerable and at-risk individuals who have a recent history of homelessness and are moving on from first stage accommodation.
£31,400 per year
37.5 hours per week
Working 5 days a week and participating in an out of hours call rota, which may include weekend and evening working as required.
27 days annual leave, including an extra day off for your birthday, plus bank holidays.

About the job
Lead the staff team to provide expert support to Service Users in identifying and progressing their needs and personal goals.
Maintain service performance to agreed targets
Lead the effective recruitment, induction and ongoing support / development of staff and volunteers
Provide planning,leadershipand direction, meeting statutory and organisational quality standards
Undertake and coordinate Service User Assessment and manage a selective caseload of clients
Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of any relevant buildings, including maintenance and safety issues, ensuring that regular inspections (internal and external) are made and monitored
The right candidate
Full driving licence and access to own car for work purposes
Experience of staff team management, including experience of recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal, training, discipline and grievance issues
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of rough sleeping, multiple complex social need and the causes of homelessness
Previous experience providing a high quality housing management and support service, managing a budget and financial systems
Good oral, written, administration and ITcommunication skills
