As the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Umida Group’s financial landscape. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making processes. We seek a hands on financial leader, who are strong in processes and yet with an ability to create results in an entrepreneurial context.

Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including statutory and consolidated accounts.

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting, adhering to legal requirements (e.g., Spotlight stock market).

Ensure compliance with financial reporting regulations.

Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.

Optimize financial resources to support growth initiatives.

Analyze company P&L, both top-line and bottom-line.

Develop reports for the CEO and the board of directors.

Provide recommendations based on financial data.

Lead budgeting processes and track performance against targets.

Publish financial news to the stock market.

Evaluate new business opportunities and projects.

Actively participate in mergers and acquisitions, including legal entity setup.

Set up new joint ventures.

Prepare monthly business reviews with detailed analysis.

Assume full responsibility for company controlling.

Active participation in the management team

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes.

Evaluate and optimize the balance between equity and liabilities.

Manage relationships with banking and financial institutions.

Ensure optimal legal entity setup.

Manage the company’s financial calendar, especially timing for external auditing.

Oversee the relationship with external auditors.

Maintain efficient processes for managing receivables and payables.

Profile & background:

Robust experience in accounting, preferably within the Business Consulting & Service industry.

Proficient in composing annual and quarterly profit & loss statements.

Familiarity with the specific industry is advantageous.

Exposure to publicly listed companies and mergers & acquisitions is a preferred.

Experience from the FMCG industry is a plus.

Experience from managing complex stakeholders is mandatory.

Driven personality, with a high sense of accountability.
