Posizione:
We’re looking for aCivil Design Engineerto join the Civil Engineering department to design, develop and construct a huge range of projects since conception through to completion. She/He will work in a multidisciplinary team, in a dynamic and growing company and She/He will be involved in international projects.
We consider both junior applications and more experienced profiles.
Tasks and Duties:
Designing, creating and supporting civil projects since permitting phase up to construction phase regarding all technical aspects, including a rough bill of quantities;
Defining the general technical specifications and typical to be applied in the different projects;
Support the BID team to prepare Civil Technical Specification;
Check for Civil design documentation from suppliers and contractors;
Assess Civil and Steel Structural Design through FEM software analysis. (Concrete and Steel connections);
Managing geotechnical aspects, from permitting phase up to construction phase;
Assess potential risks, materials and costs for civil design;
Support and collaborate tendering team for civil topics;
Support R&D team for civil aspects;
Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.
The senior profile will also be responsible for maintaining high quality on the design issuances, managing clients and external suppliers as well as managing and developing civil projects indipendently.
Requisiti:
Technical Requirements:
Bachelor or Master Degree in civil engineering;
From 1 to 5 years of experience;
Knowledge of FEM and AutoCAD software;
Experienced with specific software: FEM software as ROBOT/STAAD pro or similar. TEKLA, AutoCAD or similar;
Knowledge of international standard codes;
Willingness to travel for short business trip;
Good communication skills both in English and Italian.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of a third language;
Geotechnical skills.
