An exciting opportunity has been presented for an experienced cleaner to join our client in Botany, New South Wales, on a permanent full-time basis.

Reporting to the operation managers and production supervisors, the cleaning role is a key aspect of operations. Not only are you keeping the warehouse clean, but you are also creating a safe environment for staff and high-quality products for customers.

Our client supplies for cafes, restaurants, hotels, and airlines, and supports local Australian wheat farmers. With artisan bread products baked fresh daily, using single-origin wheat, production facilities are running 24/7 to provide the best quality products for their customers.

Description

In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks; the key areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to):

Clean and supply designated facility areas and carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.

Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.

Maintain clear access ways and high standards of housekeeping and hygiene in all factory work areas.

General factory duties including maintaining the cleanliness and safety of a food manufacturing environment.

Stock and maintain supply rooms, assisting the production and packing teams.

Profile

To be considered for this role you will have:
EXPERIENCE

Cleaning experience in a food manufacturing environment.

Experience with food safety and HACCP.

Experience in keeping accurate records of daily activities ad deemed necessary by management.

SKILLS

Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organisational and planning skills.

Attention to detail.

Ability to manage all aspects of the in a pressurised environment.

Due to the background checks required for this role, candidates must hold full working rights, have the ability to pass a national police check and full pre-employment medical, be able to provide proof of COVID vaccination (2 doses), and be able to provide two professional references.

Job Offer

The successful candidate will be joining an evolving team, dedicated to providing strong safety measures for your working environment; you can expect a full-time position, with a base salary of $53,000 + 10.5% super, increasing post-probation. If you have a baked goods, you can expect daily fresh bread and pastries!!
