We are excited to be able to offer a senior Nurse position as Clinical Nurse Specialist Neonatal

The Clinical Nurse Specialist neonatal is responsible for the clinicalleadershipand management of Pēpi and their whanau receiving care in our Special Care Baby Unit Te Matau Maui, Hawkes Bay.

CNS will model expert clinical skills, promote best practice and facilitatemultidisciplinarycollaboration.

Working with the wider multi-disciplinary team, the clinical nurse specialist will care for the acutely unwell neonate as well as supporting the transitional model of care.

If you have significant neonatal experience nursing experience, and ready to progress and developyour skillsthis could be the role for you.

Experience and skills we would like to see from candidates are:

Excellentcommunication,leadershipand interpersonal skills

Exceptional organisational andmultitaskingskills

5+ years of clinical experience in paediatric care

Is an excellent problem solver and can remaincalm under pressure?

Masters’ degree or actively working toward this

Have a family centred approach focused and have a genuine interest and commitment to quality and service

Have the ability to promote effectiveteamworkandcollaborativerelationships within the team and across health services
