Working with a well-established engineering company who are now on the lookout for an experienced CNC Miller to join their ever-growing team based just of the M32.
Responsibilities:
Setting and Operating CNC Lathe Machines using Fanuc controls.
Producing high complexity components from a range of materials
Involvement and attendance at SQDCP meetings in assigned area/s
Recording and assisting the Manufacturing Group Leader in improving the 5S organisation of the assigned Team areas and personal responsibility of machines being operated
Responsible for attending and participating in progress meetings as required
Responsible for ensuring correct materials, Route Cards, drawing are used to produce components
Setting up tools, offsets etc ready for your own operation to commence and assist Operators where appropriate
Requirements:
Experience in CNC Milling
Experience in FANUC controls
Experience with
5 axis but 3 or 4 axis is still fine
Aerospace background would be ideal but any similar engineering industry would be considered
On
Offer:
£14ph – £18ph (DOE)
37 hours per week Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4pm and Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm
Overtime (when available) paid at time and half.
25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
