Service:
28 bedded hospital in Willenhall that cares for patients who are 18 years and over in an acute setting.
Finch Ward – 12 bedded male acute ward
Robin Ward – 8 bedded male acute ward
Swan Ward – 8 bedded female acute ward
JD:
We are seeking a full time Consultant Psychiatrist to cover 14-16 beds in our Acute service. Role will be working with male and female patients.
You willfulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients supervising the process of referral and admission, including contribution to the pre-admission assessments of adults of working age.
MDT:
You willbe part of a well-established and cohesive team of medics which includes;
Medical Director, Consultant Psychiatrist, Speciality Doctors, Registered Medical Officer and Aston University Medical Students. Lakeside View also has strong links with other surroundinriory Hospitals within the region, providing the opportunity to network with other Consultants from different specialisms and service lines.
Requirements:
To join us, you must hold a CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry and have experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties.
You willhave experience at Consultant level within the NHS, including the ability to conduct training.
You willcontinue to hold a registration with the GMC including being on the special register for Psychiatry.
