We are working alongside our client to recruit an experienced Contract Manager on an interim basis.

This role is initially for a 3-month period, however, could become permanent for the right candidate.

Working from home

in the main with occasional visits to the office.

Responsible for ensuring services commissioned are safe, cost effective, good quality and lead to the desired outcomes.

Deliver this through contract management of the commissioned services in line with the organisations Contract Management Framework.

The successful candidates will possess a relevant contract management qualification i.e. CIPS/CIPFA/IACCM or equivalent at Level

4. Will also need a minimum 5 years experience working in contract management within a multi functional organisation. Public sector would be a distinct advantage.

You will

possess knowledge of legislation and guidance around procurement and contract compliance.

Manage a variety of procurement contract for the organisation

Ensure contract and performance management and monitoring processes for specific contracts provide accurate and timely data for effective contract management, including contract assessments and reviews.

Manage operational level supplier relationships to drive more value, investigate non-compliance and work with suppliers to improve contract provision through developing and monitoring SMARTER improvement plans.

Actively matrix manage Quality and Contract Monitoring Officer’s in line with organisational policies and procedures to ensure appropriate deployment of resources.
