The Data Platform Services Team is a part of the Analytics, Data Management, and Integration area of Mars Global Services (MGS). Our mission statement is to provide platforms and technologies to accelerate development of analytics products, to enable sustainable and scalable development, and to guide technology decisions made by analytics functions within MGS and beyond. This role is for a Data Architect to join the Data Platform Services team to provide thoughtleadershipand expertise on Datasphere for the new transformational capabilities being introduced in Mars as part of the SAP Digital Core ERP Transformation.

What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in data engineering or computer science-related field or equivalent experience.
Nice to have: post-graduate qualifications in computer science, data engineering or related
Nice to have: professional qualifications in advanced data design, big-data
Technical expertise In SAP BTP (basic knowledge of all pillars) and high standard of architecture andhands-on experienceof SAP Datasphere
Experience in data modelling and data design capabilities
A rich heritage in designing and building analytic solutions and BI platforms
Comfortable with working with both structured and unstructured data
Passion for growing and strengthening a business using data-driven approaches
Comfortable with ambiguity, with a passion forcollaborationto achieve objectives
Strong written and verbalcommunicationand interpersonal relationship skills
A good understanding of IT infrastructure components and challenges
Basic experience in Project or Scrum Management
Nice-to-have:
Microsoft Azure-based analytics experience
What will be your key responsibilities?
Architect and design data modelling and analytics solutions incollaborationwith other team members (including with offshore talent partners) to ensure rapid development of quality, scalable and sustainable data insights with global best practices and consistency
Participate in POCs to deliver data analytics solutions withup-to-datecapabilities for SAP BTP Datasphere available in the industry
Develop & deploy SAP BTP Datasphere and solutions across all Mars business divisions and functional use cases
Hands-ondevelopment of SAP BTP Datasphere
