A global pharmaceutical organisation are looking for an Electrical Engineering Manager to join their site in Hertfordshire on a permanent, full time basis.
This role will oversee and support the engineering function both in the UK and internationally, you will ensure the delivery of the facilities are compliant, safe and legal whilst taking overall responsibility of the site compliance ensuring the company and statutory standards across site are maintained and electrical safety and DSEAR compliance is met.
This role will oversee capital installations, ensure any issues related to the engineering function are investigated, analyzed and corrected whilst promoting ideas for process improvements. You will act as the technical authorizer for electrical safety and hazardous area compliance across the sites whilst driving electrical safety and DSEAR gap mitigation to closure.
Suitable candidates will have a strong electrical background working HV/ LV knowledge and previous experience of project involvement. Candidates would ideally come from a GMP manufacturing environment and it would be advantageous to be Chartered status or working towards Chartered status.
This role will involve occasional travel to the clients other sites across across Europe and internationally.
