4 on 4 off (Days and nights, 6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am)
Job Description
As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the reliability of electrical systems and equipment within our facility. This role involves a rotating shift pattern to provide continuous support and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical equipment.
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and best practices.
Provide support and training to junior staff as needed.
Required Qualifications
and Experience
Qualified time-served electrical engineer.
Minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance procedures.
Ability to
work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent
problem-solving skills
and
attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications
and Experience
Experience in the healthcare sector is desirable but not essential.
Cross-trade experience is advantageous.
Strong

and interpersonal skills.
