SSA are currently recruiting for an expanding Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor who are currently engaged within a number of disciplines such as power, renewables, battery storage, data centres, multi-utility diversions, & telecoms. They are looking for an Environmental Advisor to join their successful team in the delivery of projects valued between 1m- 20m – with a focus on Net Zero, & Carbon Capture – to aid the companiessustainabilitygoals by implementing new ideas and making sure the company is compliant to existing legislations.
The role will involve;
Promotingcontinuous improvementof environmental &sustainabilityperformance;
Production of Environmental Management Plans, Site Waste Management Plans;
Advise in the investigation of near-miss & accidents relating to the environment & provide improvement suggestions;
Assist with tenders & presentations to external bodies;
Undertake audits and inspections;
Coordinate with SHEQ department in all matters

You will need:
1+ years experience in Environmental &Sustainability
Qualification in HSEQ or Environmental orSustainabilitysubject area
Right to work in the UK
