The Opportunity
We are looking for Facilities Assistant to join our great team in Warwickshire.
As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. .
The ideal candidate for this position is a proactive and detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and
problem-solving skills
. You should have a
strong work ethic
and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Main responsibilities
You will
be a dedicated resource to the back of house services / stakeholder delivery team / requirements working as part of a 3-person team to include goods-in / goods-out, postal services, service yard management, Porterage and stores working Monday to Friday at the state-of-the-art building.
Safe keeping and driving of forklift trucks as part of the Macro group service offering.
Providing both internal and external customers with a high-quality customer service, creating a lasting, measurable and positive impression and consistently delivering
exceptional service
.
Demonstrating proactive and timely delivery of external goods in and out and manoeuvrability of the same to designated internal areas requested by several different stakeholders and to provide operation assistance with service yard waste management duties.
Work overtime as and when requested and to adhere to shift pattern requirements.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a facilities or maintenance role preferred.
Educated to CSE/GCSE’ level including Maths and English.
Recognised Health, Safety & Environment qualification(s) IOSH
(Working/Managing safely).
Having Manual handling and Banksman training.
Having forklift truck / string operations license.
