place to work. You’ll be at the heart of our UK&I Controllership team, playing a critical role in helping the team to be a key partner at the heart of Sky’s operations.

You’ll play a key role in our management and statutory reporting, ensuring Sky has a reporting framework which is best in class. You’ll ensure that reporting is underpinned by a robust and well developed control framework, working with our business to ensure that financial reporting is at the heart of decision making. To do all of this, you’ll be a technical expert who thrives in the complex elements of accounting, utilising your extensive IFRS/US GAAP experience help our business thrive .

What you’ll do:

Assist in our monthly financial reporting review, including consolidated reporting and analysis of our Balance Sheet, including movement and reconciliation analysis. Conduct ongoing reviews of our income statement and Balance sheet across a set number of areas, developing analysis to assist with identifying areas for further investigation Assist with our control assurance procedures, including working with the business to improve, review and analyse control performance.

This will also include testing of material controls and month end processes to gain assurance over completeness and accuracy Assist the Financial Controller in the management of our annual reporting process, working with several partners to ensure a smooth and well controlled annual reporting process. Ensure the finance team fully considers and reflects the impact of changes in accounting standards/regulations as part of commercial decision making, ensuring these are aligned with expectations of external auditors.

Provide oversight to material contract arrangements, ensuring the effects of these contracts are reported in an appropriate manner. Get involved in ad-hoc projects in Sky which impact reporting/control, providing analysis and assistance to achieve the project aims and objectives Be a key contact for our audit partners, assisting our delivery during key reporting periods and planning our workload during key periods in the reporting calendar What you’ll bring:

An experienced, qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with knowledge of IFRS. A proactive attitude to risk identification, management and mitigation and a willingness to work with the business to improve control. Phenomenal

analytical skills

with a high attention of detail, particularly in your approach A track record in developing and implementing analysis techniques to gain assurance over the accuracy and completeness of management reporting The rewards:
