We have offices in Galway and Dublin – we carry out work all over the country. Our aim is to support the Lead Architect in a timely manner.
Due to the continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Financial Controller to join our Galway Office.
Duties
Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and banking.
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements to include P&L report, debtors and creditors report, and cash flow forecast
Prepare Revenue returns for VAT and payroll tax and other statistical returns as required.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
What you will need:
Experience working at Financial Controller level.
5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
A recognised accountancy qualification i.e. ACCA, CAI, or CIMA
Good communication skills and have the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
Highly motivated, inquisitive, proactive and willing to take on new challenges
Work on own initiative and to strict deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
