(For initial 12 months candidate will be trained at Warrington)- Travel / Accommodation support shall be provided

Mission:

Responsible for the strict application of standardized processes in manufacturing / production processes across a broad scope including for example some basic maintenance processes. Strong contributor to

continuous improvement

.

Key responsibilities:

Demonstrate a number of competencies within relevant cells to support the changing needs of the customer

Apply procedures detailed within the appropriate assembly instructions and specifications as defined by the Team leader

Record issues affecting the daily short interval management (SIM) objectives

Comply with the Quality, Environmental Management systems, Health & Safety Policy and Housekeeping 5S process

Complete standard inspection against quality standards

Suggest proposals to improve the working procedures and cells

Identify and express to the team leader any risks regarding health and safety, quality and environment, including all incidents and near misses

All lost time in production is known and recorded

Understand assembly drawings and work instructions

Able to

assemble mechanical/electrical switch gear using assembly drawings

General experience with assembly hand tools and wiring tools ie crimping tools, spanners sockets etc

Preferable that the applicant has experience in assembly switch gear or similar products

Qualifications

Skills and attributes:

Mandatory schooling.

Written English and numerical functional test
