Fantastic opportunity to join a world-class Big 4 consulting firm on a contract client engagement. Looking to hire a Full-stack developer with .Net and Angular experience plus strong knowledge of event sourcing, messaging, eventually consistent systems.
Remote working
. What will you be doing? This role will be to enhance and support two Angular and .Net applications (GRS and CPQUI) hosted on Microsoft Azure that enable Underwriters to price and quote cyber insurance policies.
Design and code systems that are testable, maintainable, reliable, secure, and scalable. Collaborate with other teams and third parties to support the development and operational support of the GRS and CPQUI applications. Be enthusiastic and inquisitive about new technology with a desire to continuously improve software development practices. Share your views and experiences into the team and add another dimension to our solutions.
Pair-program with other team members. Perform
code reviews
. What will you need to do it on day 1? Familiarity and recent experience with
modern
.NET 6+ and ASP.NET fundamentals. Familiarity and recent experience with Angular 12+ fundamentals. Angular 15 experience will be beneficial. Familiarity and recent experience with web fundamentals. Familiarity and recent experience with Azure including App Services and Application Insights.
Familiarity and recent experience with Git Hub Actions or another similar CI/CD tool. Familiarity and recent experience of building distributed systems and utilising messaging and eventing for
communication
. Familiarity and recent experience using containerisation technologies (such as Docker) Familiarity and recent experience with RESTful APIs and microservices best practices. Familiarity and recent experience with test driven development including automated unit and integration testing.
Familiarity and recent experience troubleshooting and supporting complex business critical business applications. Skills we’d love to see / you will need to develop? Familiarity and recent experience with CQRS and clean architecture patterns.
Experience with
Mediat
R will be beneficial. Familiarity and recent experience with Mass Transit and Marten Document DB or similar technologies.
Experience of
development and troubleshooting event sourcing and eventually consistent systems.
