This is a full-time position responsible for the day-to-day running of the business. Job Description
The Responsibility:
Represent Everlast Gyms as an ambassador for fitness
Demonstrate our elevated ways of working always
Driving all revenue lines from membership sales to product & secondary, to drive profitability
Effective management of controllable costs like stock orders & cleaning supplies to eliminate wastage and overspend
Lead by exampleon reception and the gym floor in this member facing role designed to enhance every visit
Ensure central processes like STRIVE & MOVE are followed & delivered to the highest level consistently
Drive collective buy-in to national focuses & incentives like #WORKOUT WEDNESDAY & #We Communicate
Lead the recruiting, monitoring,training and onboardingof new team members within your gym
Ensure that all daily, weekly & monthly operational processes are completed consistently and to a high standard using our in-house systems
Willing and able to deliver honest, constructive feedback regularly to support all team members in achieving their potential andchallengingthem on a daily basis
Reporting facilities & maintenance related issues in accordance with best practice guidelines
Manage club rotas based on budgets, ensuring fully trained team members are always onsite
Be resilient and agile to react tochallengingsituations and find solutions
Able to effectively manage all policies and procedures including Health & Safety,inclusiveof pool plant operations
Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times whether on-shift or not two members of staff are working at the same time.
Qualifications
Need to have:
Passion for health, fitness andwellness
Level 2 qualification in fitness (desirable)
1+ year previous management role experience within the fitness industry
Strongleadershipqualities
Adaptabilityincommunicationand management style depending on the team member and their drivers
A positive, solutions driven mindset in the face of adversity
A member champion mentality with exceptional interpersonal skills
Driven and ambitious with a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviours and competencies specific to the role
Flexibilityin working hours and location to support the needs of the business including weekends and Bank Holidays when required
