We are a privately owned, market leader company within the leisure sector, providing fun for all the family, with business based around the UK. We are looking to recruit a general manager for our Fun station site in Xscape, Milton Keynes. This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week.
About the role
· To take full responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the unit
· To drive a selling culture within your team, while delivering first class customer service within a
fast-paced environment
· Consistently raise performance of the team and encourage personal development
· Driving
sales targets
by ensuring all aspects of the shop floor are operational, including management of stock
· Be a role model for outstanding customer service and have a passion for
attention to detail
About you
To be part of our team, we would like you to …
· Experience as a
hands-on
General Manager ideally within the leisure, hospitality or retail industry
· Have excellent
leadership
and
communication skills
· Be able to motivate your team
· Have the ability to work with budget targets and KPI’s
· Have a flexible approach and be able to work under pressure in a calm professional way
· Ability to ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to
· Be able to work weekends and evenings
· Previous experience in the leisure industry would be a distinct advantage
