Scania Great Britain have anexcitingopportunity for an experienced Head of Finance & Controls to oversee finance operations within our Sales and Marketing departments. This is asenior leadershipposition within our organisation, with a core focus on finance, customer relationships and making informed business decisions, leading to increasedcustomer satisfactionand profitability.

Reporting into the UK CFO and supporting the UK Sales Director, you will lead a team to oversee all finance related activities, providing insight, aiding decision-making processes, and supporting the organisation whilst working with the departmental Directors/Stakeholders to maximise the performance of their functions. Ensuring the correct balance between control and support.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead & Coach – lead, coach and oversee the professional development of the department, both individually and corporately.
• Oversee Business Control – lead quantitative and qualitative analytical work to produce business insights and drive sound decision making on key business issues. Coordinate month end, all departmental budgets, projections, and forecasting activities.
• Accounting & Reporting – designing, implementing, and maintaining financial management and reporting systems as well as administrative business processes, to support the effective use of financial resources.
•Continuous Improvement- proactively challenge overall business performance and processes, aid in internal and external audits, and initiate improvement proposals.
•Communication& Influence – able to demonstrate sound business understanding, confidently communicate insights and positively influencing stakeholders, external customers, and the broader business.
