Socios.com is a fan engagement and rewards app that allows fans to engage with their favourite teams and clubs through digital assets known as Fan Tokens.
THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Social Media to join our growing team. We are looking for the right candidate who can manage a multi-language and multi-market social media team while providing strategic and operational leadership to our English-language social content and community.
Being goal-driven rather than channel-focused, you will be a talented manager who oversees a team of talented social media specialists (Italian, Portuguese, Spanish & Turkish), works closely with our designers, videographers, digital marketers, and external agencies to position Socios.com and Chiliz as market leaders in fan engagement.
Working with the biggest Sports Teams in the world, you’ll also partner with our creative strategists to plan & deliver the right messaging to the right audience to make Socios.com the world’s biggest fan engagement and rewards platform.
You will have a deep understanding of each platform’s content formats and culture, and know exactly how to brief internal and external content creators to deliver against your strategy.
You will have experience using social media analytics and listening tools and feel comfortable generating & presenting reports to marketing and business leads.
You will have experience of developing content strategies for longform on YouTube, and work with the video department to deliver best-in-class content for this and other platforms.
You will have a holistic approach to community management, understanding that the strongest connections can also exist offline.
You will work with the Chiliz social & community team as well as your own social media team to develop and execute authentic relationships with sports fans, crypto enthusiasts, and interested ‘civilians’ on platforms from Telegram to Reddit and everything in between.
