We have anexcitingopportunity for an experienced HGV mechanic to join a leading logistics company, your responsibilities will include delivering the highest quality of repairs to both trucks and trailers, and vans.

Responsibilities:
Carry out accurate fault diagnosis – Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic.
Proficient in all engine types – Diesel, Petrol, and Adblue systems.
Conduct vehicle inspections to the minimum DVSA standard or above, up to and including MOT preparation and presentation to include 6 weekly inspections.
Respond to breakdowns as required.
Visit our different operating sites and carry out repairs in the most efficient manner without compromising quality.
Accurately communicate to the depot for parts required to complete repairs and control any stock allocated to the vehicle.
Requirements:
The ability to organise work on own initiative and work under pressure
Good knowledge of health and safety practices
City and Guilds Level 3 or NVQ level 3 (HGV Mechanic/Technician) or relevant industry experience
Driving License C+E
3 years Experience
Computer Literate in Excel, Word and Outlook
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £37,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
