Assist with the oversight of outsourced daily reconciliations and exception management liaising with counter parties and service providers. Ensure adherence to the firms’ controls.

Assisting with the maintenance of the Investment Book of Records.
Assist with the Corporate Action process, liaising with analysts and portfolio managers, and ensuring the elections are made in a timely manner.
Assist with equity and fixed income trade support using Omgeo CTM and Bloomberg Trade Complete.
Monitor and oversee the custodian settlement process escalating any issues.
Maintain trade commission management within Bloomberg
Daily administration of fund/account cash flows, ensuring cash positions as reflected in the Investment Book of Records are complete and accurate.
Assist the team with market and regulatory changes ensuring that systems and processes are updated accordingly.
Responsible for ensuring all relevant market accounts are open to trade and have up to date settlement instructions in place.
Ensure that static data is kept up to date in Bloomberg, Omgeo and the data warehouse.
Responsible for managing client service and operational client reporting requests.
Present management information monthly to the Portfolio Services Group. Share with Investment Operations/Front Office weekly meeting If significant and appropriate.
Monitor spot FX transactions and work with outsourced FX agent to ensure all currency balances effectively repatriated into fund base currencies.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
3 years within a buy side Operations team.
CISI IOC qualifications an advantage
Fixed Income and Equity experience is preferred. Full understanding of trade lifecycle and typical data flow.
Operational knowledge of derivatives (CDS, Futures & Forward FX)
End to end knowledge of own function and broad understanding of Investment Operations/Operations functions and the business as a whole.
