Job Title
Investment Optimization Controller
The Investment Optimization Senior Specialistmanages, coordinates and monitors budget planning activities. In her/his role, as member of the Travel Distribution Portfolio Optimization & Efficiencies team, the person will contribute strongly in enabling the organization to be more cost effective, in defining and running smooth governance and processes, and in helping to make the right investment decisions.
Main responsibilities
Collect and consolidate inputs/assumptions, and contribute to construct the yearly budget and long term plan exercises
Contribute to the arbitration processes, in line with Travel Distribution key priorities
Contribute to cost optimization by monitoring and reporting investment budget on specific projects
Provide regular management reports and dashboards, resource consumption figures
Design, implement and maintain data models, collaborating closely with key Budget stakeholders
Prepare presentations for top management (activity, key figures, project progress)
Contribute as needed to portfolio strategy projects (e.g. portfolio optimization projects, product deep dives…)
About the ideal candidate
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a multi-site, multi-cultural environment
Education: University degree, or equivalent work experience English
Demonstrated experience in business planning, project management, business consulting. Ability to work in a politically complex environment
Ability to build and sustain overtime relationships with multidisciplinary teams
Capacity to articulate complex situations in a clear and simple way
Ability to understand, analyze and make sensible recommendations about complex issues involving many open parameters using structured thinking
Influencing and negotiation skills
Fast learner, excited about learning new things and know how to find your way in challenging situations/solution-driven approach.
Diligence to produce quality deliverables and attention to detail
Positive attitude and effective in dealing with ambiguity
Values joining a dynamic team that values engagement, interactions, collaboration, innovation and new ideas
Languages: English Fluent. Any other language a plus
