For our Register.it brand we are looking for a Linux System Administrator. The successful candidate will work with the Security Operations and Service Management team, made up of 10 people. The team is responsible for the company IT System Security, maintaining the production environment updated and in security, guaranteeing efficient and uninterrupted services.
He/she will work in IT Operations, reporting to the Security Operations and Service Management leader.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Computer science
Background in Information Technology (Linux Systems)
At least 2 years experience in administration of servers based on Unix/Linux operating systems.
Excellent knowledge of Linux systems
Good knowledge of Bash scripting
Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking
Knowledge of written and spoken English
He/she is open and available to cooperate with foreign colleagues, and motivated to work in a young, dynamic environment. Is able to analyse problems, come up with solutions, concentrate, work quickly and adapt. Willing to constantly innovate.
Available to travel in Italy and abroad if sometimes required.
Is also quite flexible, always available for maintenance activities on critical systems.
Nice to have
Proven experience with Debian Linux, Apache / Nginx web server, Bind/PowerDNS server, mail server, antispam server, throubleshooting
Good knowledge of one programming language: snython, perl, php
