Nicholas Associates is actively searching for a HSEQ Co-Ordinator to join our clients rapidly expanding team in Liverpool.
The Junior HSEQ Coordinator will sit within the HSEQ Department and provide a pivotal role in supporting the Company s customer approval process. The primary focus of the role will be to complete customer pre-qualification questionnaires and demonstrate competence. Alongside this the Junior HSEQ Co-ordinator will be responsible for managing supplier assessments and verification ensuring potential suppliers and subcontractors meet expected standards.
The Junior HSEQ Co-ordinator will support the HSEQ department in the maintenance and improvement of the accredited Business Management System (BMS).
Main
Duties:
PQQ Process Support: support the process of completing pre-qualification questionnaires for potential customers ensuring adherence to deadlines.
PQQ Process Support:
Be the focal point for completing customer pre-qualification and tender HSEQ questionnaires / submissions.
Tender Process Support:
Provide company HSEQ information/support for tender submissions.
Sub-contractor/SupplierCommunication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding the completion and submission of pre-qualification questionnaires, providing guidance, clarification, and support as needed
Sub-contractor/SupplierCommunication:
Review sub-contractor/supplier pre-qualification returns and advise HSEQ Manager of any shortcomings.
Sub-contractor/Supplier Assurance:
Evaluate vendor responses to pre-qualification questionnaires to assess adherence to quality management standards, certifications, and best practices (e.g., ISO 9001).Support the HSEQ Manager in conducting external sub-contractor audits as and when required.
Sub-contractor/Supplier Assurance Compliance Review:
Ensure that vendors meet regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organisationalquality assurancecriteria, including environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Sub-contractor/Supplier Records:
Maintain accurate records of all PQQs, vendor responses, quality certifications, and related documentation, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
HSEQ System Support:
Ensure relevant safety information/bulletins are communicated/cascaded throughout the organisation.
HSEQ System Support:
Maintain awareness of and highlight new techniques for improving H&S and welfare to the attention of the HSEQ Manager.
HSEQ System Support:
Liaise with Document Control to ensure affective organisation/management of documentation within the system.
Qualifications/
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in quality, environmental or health & safety management. Additional certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ASQ) are advantageous.
0-5 years of experience with specific experience in coordinating pre-qualification questionnaire responses.
Knowledge and basic understanding in ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, as well as regulatory requirements related to assurance and compliance.
Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and management.
Proficiency in MS documentation suite.
Attention to detailto ensure accuracy in documentation, and compliance with standards.
Strong organisational and management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously…
