Now, we are looking for aJunior project Engineer in our office in Barcelona, Spain
What is the role About?
As an employee of IPS will actively participate in a wide range of projects, ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions. You will be working in an Industrial environment project with scope in process engineering; equipment, mechanics, instrumentation, automation, etc. The management of each project can include multiple phases and/or specialization:
– Strategic Consulting:project master planning, conceptual engineering.
– Project feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall time schedule, procurement strategy, financial plan.
– Project preparation phase:investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing and procurement.
– Project realization phase:project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management.
The role of the JR Project Engineer is to join the project team to deliver to the client the best engineering services within the budget and planning defined.
Who are you?
Degree in Industrial engineer with specialization: Chemicals or Bio-Chemicals, Ind. Organization, Mechanicals.
2 to 4 years’ experience
Experience in Project Management either in client or consulting company
Notions in civil works, building utilities and/or process utilities.
Fluent in Spanish and in English, plus French or German.
Knowledge in PC-literate MS word and Excel and PowerPoint applications, MS Project, Auto CAD
Feeling comfortable taking tasks that require various skills and prioritizing tasks completion.
Valuable experience in the Food & Beverages sector.
Driving license.
