Lead Data Architect
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Data Architect to join the Data Office. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our data strategy, leveraging our data assets to the full, elevating our decision-making, streamlining processes, and driveinnovationwithin our specialty insurance business. As Senior Data Architect, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of data solutions, ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of our data ecosystem.
The Data Function will include a transformation and strategy team, which this role will be part of. The role focuses on the harmonisation of the data architecture and will work alongside IT technical architects in implementation projects.

The Role
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, analysts, and IT teams end to end to understand business needs and translate them into effective data architecture solutions.
Design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures that support business goals, including data warehousing, data lakes, and real-time data processing.
Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of new data technologies and tools to optimise data management processes.
Support the development of data products, through robust architecture, data governance policies, ensuring data quality, integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations (GDPR).
Lead a team to develop and maintain data models, schemas, and data dictionaries to facilitate consistent and accurate data interpretation.
Lead the development of data migration strategies to consolidate and centralise data from various sources into a single Platform for MRSG.
Drive the adoption of best practices in data architecture, data management, and data lifecycle management.
Provideleadership, mentorship, and guidance to the Data Office, Architects and Data Governance.
