RolePurpose:
• Lead and grow a team of data scientists at tombola, driving them to deliver cutting-edge data science solutions.
• Actively participate in, and oversee, the integration of data science projects into business processes to enhance tombola’s decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Engage with senior stakeholders across various departments, understanding their needs and deliveringimpactfuldata-driven insights and solutions.
• Working with other teams to developcollaborativeways of working that make data science capabilities available to all departments at tombola.
• To work closely with the data engineering team to ensure data requirements for data science projects are understood and delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
•Team Leadership:
Build, mentor, and lead a data science team, promoting acollaborativeandinnovativework environment. Ensureprofessional growthandskill developmentwithin your team.
•Project Management:
Manage the lifecycle of key data science projects from inception to deployment. Apply advanced data science techniques to solve complex problems and enhance business operations.
• Technical Expertise:
Utilize your expertise in statistics, machine learning, and data management to develop predictive models and algorithms.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
Maintain robustcommunicationwith stakeholders at all levels, ensuring their requirements are met and their concerns are addressed promptly.
