We are an established yet growing manufacturer of high quality, low volume electro-mechanical products supplying a global market. We have experienced considerable growth over the last two years and as a result of this growth and investment we are currently seeking a tenacious Manufacturing Engineer to join the team.

This is an opportunity for a tenacious Manufacturing Engineer to further consolidate their existing skills in a varied role in support of both our existing products and play a key role in our new emerging products.

The role will be varied and very project driven as we are expanding and as such you will be heavily involved in redesign of shop floor layout, capital investment projects and ongoing process development.

In conjunction with the process development project work, you will also be responsible for New Product Development (NPI) support from initial prototype stage through to full scale manufacture as well as utilising your lean experience to improve efficiencies and output on existing products.

The ability to work as part of a team but on your own initiative is essential as is the ability to work to high quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years Production Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering experience within an electro-mechanical or electronic assembly manufacturing environment, coupled with an

appreciation

of lean tools and initiatives such as Kaizan, DFM, SPC, 5S, FMEA’s etc.
