TMX Recruit are currently working with a well-established M&E business that provides mechanical and electrical services throughout the Midlands area. Due to their continuous growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to support their expanding Midlands team.
This Mechanical Project Manager role will be based on site and will require travel around the West Midlands (Telford, Birmingham, etc), visiting a range of their commercial projects. These projects range from schools, offices, hospitals, high end residential villages etc.
Mechanical Project Manager duties include –
* Liaison/meetings with clients, supply chain and delivery teams and management.
* Health & Safety management
* Attending internal CVR/progress meetings
* Financial management of projects, including procurement and assisting with costings.
* Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
* Management and briefing of installation personnel.
* Resolving installation and access issues.
* Completion and submission of as-installed documentation.
* Programme and project planning.
Ideal Mechanical Project Manager Experience/Qualifications –
* Must have a background in the mechanical/building services industry
* Ideally have experience working as a Mechanical Project Manager or looking to progress
* Managed M&E projects valuing up to £12 million
* Strong IT Skills
* Customer facing experience
* Full UK Driving License
