As we continue to expand, we’re seeking a Purchasing Clerk to join our dynamic team. This role, based within the Amorana branch, will be crucial in driving high-level performance across the Lovehoney Group. In close partnership with the Manager Trading & Merchandising, your focus will be on optimizing purchasing processes and strengthening supplier relationships, contributing to the success of both Amorana and the wider Lovehoney Group.
What You Will Do
Manage category POs (placing, monitoring, and updating) for both weekly and seasonal needs, ensuring accuracy in units, pricing, and timely deliveries
Analyse category performance with your line manager to identify stock level challenges, and communicate insights on potential stock issues or purchasing inefficiencies to relevant teams
Develop sourcing strategies to improve margins, including negotiations on MOQs, pricing, and considering bulk buying when appropriate
Foster and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, ensuring smooth acceptance and delivery of all POs, and addressing any discrepancies or issues in collaboration with internal departments
Participate in projects and tasks with the Manager Trading & Merchandising, contributing to the development of purchasing strategies and operational efficiencies
What You Should Bring
Strong foundation in commercial training with professional experience in operational purchasing, demonstrating both independence and responsibility in managing projects and tasks
Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, with advanced MS Office skills, especially in Excel
Proactive and solution-oriented approach, showing a high level of ambition and passion for procurement and supply chain management
