The Infrastructure Monitoring Team is responsible for maintaining the health and availability of all managed devices, including customer devices and internal systems. The role involves responding to alerts and tickets generated by the Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform. Engineers are responsible for investigating and remediating issues, communicating with clients and colleagues via telephone and email (ticket).

Core alerting duties include:

Investigating device offline issues

Managing storage consumption on disks, SAN volumes, ESXi Host data stores, etc.

Addressing Veeam backup job failures

Handling warranty claims for hardware component failures

Reviewing and reapplying failed Windows updates

Diagnosing mail flow issues on Exchange servers

Investigating performance-related alerts (high CPU, Memory, Disk I/O)

In addition to the core duties, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer will focus on proactive device management and health, including:

Root cause analysis for recurring alerts or P1/P2 outages

Performing environment reviews and relaying findings for upsell opportunities

Creating maintenance windows/change requests and arranging manual updates

Requirements:

The role focuses on infrastructure rather than user support and requireshands-on experiencein the following areas:

Infrastructure Topology

Windows Server (2012/2019/2022 etc)

ESXi Hosts and Virtualization (preferably VMware)

Network Storage (SAN and NAS)

Backup Technology

Microsoft Exchange Server + Online

Firewalls

Work Hours:

You will operate on a recurring four-on/four-off shift rotation, consisting of four-day shifts (07:00 – 19:00) or four-night shifts (19:00 – 07:00) with four rest days in between. Each shift is 12 hours long, including a 1-hour lunch break mid-shift.
