Our client, a Financial Services Institution are looking for an experienced Mortgages Lawyer. This role can be based in Manchester, Northampton or Glasgow (2-days required in the office) This role will support the Secured Borrowing and Secured Regulated lending parts of the business providing legal advice on all aspects of current and proposed product offerings.
THE ROLE:
Advising in relation to the securitisation of regulated mortgage products. Advising on the implementation of the FCA’s Consumer Duty and implementation of the Mortgage Charter. Advising on Secured Borrowing’s
sustainability
strategy. Staying abreast of an advising on the FCAs proposed changes to the Mortgage Conduct of Business Rules.
REQUIREMENTS:
UK Qualified Solicitor from a leading law firm. Inhouse experience working for a Financial Services Organisation. Regulatory technical experience. Experience in secured lending regulation (mortgages) and banking/regulated products.
