As a Netapp Consultant, you are responsible for the effective management and admin of the customers Net App data storage environment and peripheral management infrastructure. Providing technical guidance as part of the Professional Services team, you will be a technical escalation point.
You will
have experience working across core infrastructure technologies, with specific experience relating to Virtualization, Storage, Scripting & Automation, Networking and Windows/Linux operating systems.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Understand and translate customer business requirements into technical solutions
Ability to
converse and influence on multiple levels within customer organisation comfortably engage with technical staff on the detailed hands on level and with managerial / sales level stakeholders
Lead and deploy highly complex post-sales hardware and software architectures, installations, and integrations
Own the product deployment with the customer
Understand signoff and testing procedures
Onsite and remote subject matter expert with Net App, IT infrastructure, applications, security, networking and Cloud services, in a context of deploying a software product with applicable infrastructure.
Provide detailed project planning, design, implementation, and final As-Built documentation
Design and architect company marketed solution sets and other custom consulting
Ensures all assigned work tasks are completed in an effective and efficient manner
Broad and detailed exposure and understanding of a variety of technologies/concepts in a distributed environment
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Experience integrating complex software product and applicable multiple infrastructure elements into a customer environment
VMware/vCenter;
Linux
Net App ONTAP (AFF + FAS); data centre storage environments
