We are excited to announce that we are currently looking for a talented News Reader App Content Editor to join our team for the award-winning art and pop culture magazine “boredpanda.com”. Prepare to work for a leading publisher of uplifting stories that cure boredom all over the world!
What You Will Do:
Select relevant top news for different categories from various sources;
Review and analyze news content from multiple sources;
Refine and edit news summaries to ensure accuracy and clarity;
Create engaging headlines and select appropriate images for news stories;
Ensure content aligns with editorial standards by reviewing titles, summaries, and images for appropriateness and consistency;
Critically evaluate content for potential biases, misinformation, or inappropriate material;
Assess the quality and relevance of news summaries using strong analytical skills;
Utilize technology-centric productivity tools related to news publishing, such as virality trackers and distribution automation tools.
What We Expect:
Native-level English skills;
Strong writing, editing, and proofing skills;
Newsroom or reader app experience;
Attention to detail to catch errors and inconsistencies in content;
Thoroughness in reviewing and aligning content with editorial standards;
Ability to identify potential biases and misinformation in content;
Proficiency in using technology-centric productivity tools;
Experience in team leadership and management, especially in remote and diverse environments across different time zones, would be advantageous.

Salary: 2400 – 4100 euros/ monthly (taxes included)
Salary would consist of fixed and variable parts. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
