Responsibilities:
As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with SEN, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), in the classroom.
You will
work alongside a team of dedicated Teaching Assistants to ensure the well-being and academic progress of all students.
As a Nursery assistant your responsibilities will include:
Providing one-on-one support to SEN children in the classroom.
Assisting the teacher and other staff members in creating a supportive and
inclusive
learning environment
.
Collaborating with the SENCO and other professionals to implement individualised
education
plans for students with ASD.
Supporting students with their daily routines and activities, including personal care if required.
Nursery Assistant

Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD, is highly desirable.
Confidence, courage, and a proactive approach to supporting student’s needs.
Excellent
communication
and interpersonal skills.
Ability to
work effectively as part of a team.
