Overview:
A leading software development firm based in Watford are currently looking for a Full Stack Developer to join a new technology transformation programme.
You will
have exposure to the entire software development lifecycle, working with the latest tech stack.
Roles &
Responsibilities:
• Understanding and contributing to the strategy for the management of technical debt within the team
• Ensuring that the solutions developed and deployed are fit for
purpose
.
• Developing clean, maintainable features and resolving end-to-end issues with an understanding of different possible approaches
• Conducting and participating in
code reviews
with an emphasis on both functional and non-functional requirements, considering, performance, resiliency, maintainability, and security, to ensure that we build consistently high-quality software for our customers.
• Analysing and defining test approaches and strategies within the team
Skills &
Experience:
• Use of a
modern
PHP 8+ with experience in development frameworks such as Laravel / Symfony.
• To build/maintain CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab.
• Experience working with Node
• Understanding of clean code and clean architecture.
• Understanding of relational databases and MySQL and writing efficient database queries.
• Working in an AWS environment (Desirable)
Desirable:
• Frontend development experience, working with
modern
JavaScript frameworks – React & React Native (Desirable)

• Up to £70,000 basic salary
