We are looking for a Principal Architect / Principal Engineer to join a company building the next generation or data driven organisations. This is a Senior position within the business, focusing on all areas of data, platform & software engineering. Be the “go to” person for all things tech, take complete ownership of the product.
???? 3 days in London (City), 2 days WFH/Remote
???? £140,000-£180,000 per annum
???? 25 days + Christmas Shut Down (5 extra days)

The Principal Architect / Principal Engineer will not be a people management role, this role will suit someone who is a strong technical and solution engineer who wants to work as an individual contributor leading the design and architecture of a complex decisioning platform as part of a high performing technology team – they would have worked as a ‘technical lead’ on complex projects, but we’re interested in their technical experience here, not their people management experience.
The Role
of the Principal Architect / Principal Engineer
• This role requires someone with extensive software architecture experience, where they have designed complex enterprise systems with many external dependencies
• The ideal candidate would have experience in a high performing enterprise environment building decisioning systems, or working with the architecture and delivery of complex banking, trading, or gaming (wagering) systems
• This is a very ‘
hands-on
’ role, where the successful candidate will be responsible for the development of solution designs, detailed analysis and hands on engagement with stakeholders – this is not a role where the individual will be delegating these responsibilities to others
