A key client of ours is looking for a contract Process Engineer (Plastic Coatings) join its team for at least a 3-6 month contractual period. This is a well-regarded

Process Engineer duties include
– Review current processes and existing methods of manufacture.
Work on volume outputs, scrap/rework, quality, safety, and delivery commitments.
Ensure that existing equipment and machinery are kept in good working order.
Recommend
new equipment
when and where necessary.
Support with the creation of new manuals and
staff training
where necessary.
Assist with plant layouts to ensure material flow is maximised.
Help to drive
continuous improvement
/ kaizen programs on site.
Process Engineer desirable skills and experience
–
Experience working
within a similar role (Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer etc).
Extensive experience around plastic injection moulding, coatings, plating and paint.
Relevant manufacturing/mechanical engineering
education
(HND/HNC).
Ability to
demonstrate the use of tools such as FMEA, VSM, Control Plan, and CPK.Process Engineer position benefits include
