We are looking to strengthen our team with a Planner, who can provide the necessary experience to work within our Supply Chain Department. This is a fantastic opportunity which is part of anexcitingphase of our Company strategy and growth plans

The role would ideally suit an individual who is looking to build a career in Supply Chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Report directly to the Plant Manager

Establish Priorities for the Production Plan

Update the Production Plan and add new customer orders on a weekly basis using Excel

Monitor and chase Suppliers to ensure raw materials or components are received on time, adjusting dates on the ERP system where required, including our Key Print Suppliers

Promote and contribute towards cost effective operations by maximising efficiencies, planning for growth and utilising staff in a cost effective way

Achieve targets set by the Plant Manager such as On Time in Full

Data collection, input and report final figures to Plant Manager on a weekly basis

Work closely with other Departmental managers to ensure Continuation of Production and Delivery on time to the customer

Ensure production achieve the full Finished Goods quantity requirements of the Customer

Solely responsible for creating Job Bags for production and maintaining accuracy of information

Use of an ERP system and Excel on a daily basis to plan production and monitor stock levels for components

Participate in daily meetings, reporting and highlighting any areas of concern and recommendations for improvement

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

The successful candidate must have the following essential requirements:

· Excellent planning, organisational and prioritisation skills

· Numerically and methodically minded with a genuine enjoyment of excel and analysis

· Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

· Excellentattention to detail

· A logical and analytical approach

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Proficient in Microsoft packages

· Capable of managing own workload and confident in liaising at all levels within the business
