Summary of the role

We’re looking for an experienced Principal QA Engineer to help enhance our Hotel Offer module quality of deliverables. It’s a key core component of the Amadeus Hotel Central Reservation System covering all aspects of Offer management from setup to Shopping.

In this role you will

Act as a functional and technical lead responsible for defining and spreading best practices around QA methodology across the organization.

Conduct technical discussions with internal development partners to understand their designs and intended output.

Takes a leading role in the technical implementation of the test strategy. You’ll have a strong IT & business understanding.

Be proficient in technical knowledge, be recognized as a leader in your area and may formally train Specialists/Senior Specialists.

Understand how main business drivers may impact on own area. Can assess complex problems with broad impact on the activity, improve processes, recommend solutions and risk mitigation plans.

Work with a high level of autonomy, lead projects or contribute to broad cross-functional projects.

Drive continuous and sustainable improvement by participating in internal / external forums and lead department-wise discussions around QA methodology / framework / tooling evolution

Provide consulting on test automation issues, testing tools, QA processes and functional test coverage

About the ideal candidate

Previous experience in a QA Expert/QA Lead position or extensive QA Engineer experience in a similar industry

Proficient in Python and API Testing.

Proficient in automation tools like Selenium.

Experience in defining Test strategies, Customer programs, CICD, Continuous improvement.

Knowledge of Amadeus or other GDSs is a plus

Experience in Hotel/ Hospitality domain is a plus.

ISTQB certification is a plus
