Responsibilities:
Quality AssuranceLeadership:
Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensivequality assuranceprogram for all artistic metalwork projects.
Collaborate withcross-functional teamsto establish and maintain quality standards throughout the production process.
Process Improvement:
Identify areas forprocess improvementand efficiency incollaborationwith production, design, and engineering teams.
Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to ensure continuousprocess improvement.
Inspection and Testing:
Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, work in progress, and finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
Implement and manage testing protocols to validate the durability, functionality, and aesthetic aspects of the metalwork.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation ofquality controlprocesses, inspections, and test results.
Generate regular reports forsenior management, highlighting key quality metrics and areas for improvement.
Training and Development:
Provide training to production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and adherence to design specifications.
Foster a culture of quality consciousness andcontinuous improvementwithin the team.
Work towards enhancing overallcustomer satisfactionthrough consistent quality delivery.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Art, Engineering, Quality Management).
Proven experience in a quality management role, preferably within the field of artistic metalwork.
Strong knowledge of metalworking processes, materials, andcraftsmanship.
Excellentattention to detailand a passion for maintaining artistic and functional integrity.
Familiarity with industry quality standards and certifications.
Effectivecommunicationandleadershipskills.
